EPE Partners is close to finalizing a deal to create nearly 200 EPE4DX theaters in

the next five years, with the first to open in Los Angeles, London, and several other major cities.

CJ Group is the world's first 4D cinema company, headquartered in Seoul with international offices in Los Angeles and Beijing. The company created 4DX, the first and leading 4D cinema technology for feature films, providing moviegoers with an immersive cinematic experience.

For a motion picture to make use of the 4DX features available in a theater, an EPE4DX "track" needs to be programmed on top of the existing video and audio tracks. In other words, an EPE4DX movie is a standard movie with the addition of an EPE4DX track that controls the EPE4DX features during playback. To program an EPE4DX track into

a movie typically takes less than a month.

EPE Partners understands that teaming up with entities like

CJ Group and IMAX can lead to unlimited opportunities globally.

CJ Group brings 4DX auditoriums to exhibition partners along with 4DX codes for both major Hollywood blockbusters and local titles. Each auditorium incorporates motion-based seating synchronized with more than 20 different effects and optimized by a team of skilled editors,

maximizing the feeling of immersion within the movie, beyond the limits of audio and video.

One of EPE Partner’s objectives is to retrofit movie theaters globally with special equipment to support EPE4DX features including seats which move in three dimensions and vibrate; leg and back ticklers; wind, water, fog, bubbles, rain and snow in the air; and storm lighting and sound effects.
